I’m not gonna lie, March was a loooooong month. Work was crazy for both Alex and I, and the month just seemed to drag on. Luckily, my Spring break started the last week of March and goes for 3 glorious weeks thanks to being on a year-round school schedule. I am loving being home with my #1 girl! March weather was also crazy. We had 70 degree days, and we also had snow. So hopefully that is over. Here is what we did this month:
With the weather so nice, we spent a lot of time outside playing. This is the first time Livia can actually run around and play outside, and she absolutely loves being outside! The weather was so consistently nice that we were thinking of fun activities to do outside with Liv, and I wrote a post about outdoor Spring activities with your toddler.
And then this happened…
despite her face in this picture, she loved playing out in the snow… even after Natty ate her mitten (typical Natty).
With Alex working a lot of weekends, Livia and I went out for doughnuts a few times just the two of us. Girl loves her some doughnuts, that’s for sure! I can just imagine her thinking “Um, why are you taking a picture of me eating?”
Since we were stuck inside a little more with the weather turning colder again, we found some new inside activities to do. Livie loves to color, and I randomly found these Crayola window markers. I thought this would be a neat alternative to regular coloring. She had a blast with it on our sliding glass door!
Another exciting thing that happened in March was this little babe starting to show itself. Check out my first trimester update for how this pregnancy is going so far.
To outfit my growing bump I ordered my first maternity Stitch Fix, and got some definite keepers. Check out what I got here.
We also got to celebrate a friend’s 2nd birthday at the end of the month. It was Mickey themed, which is right up Liv’s alley. They had this standup Minnie balloon that became Livie’s best friend. She was hugging it, and carrying it all around the party. I started to feel bad that she wasn’t sharing Minnie with any one else, so we tried to hide it from her a few times. She eventually always ended up finding Minnie and giving her big hugs. It was pretty cute.
And of course with my Spring break starting, that means the frequency of my Target trips is increasing. The Dollar Spot is just so fun to play around in!!
April has lots of fun in store for us, including a vacation, and a more relaxed work schedule for both of us, so we are definitely looking forward to the new month. Happy April!
