10 Things I Want To Do in 2017

Along with the rest of the world, I made some New Year resolutions, but I don’t feel like they really cover all of what I want out of 2017. So I decided to write out more things I want to accomplish this year, because if I don’t write them out, I won’t remember them because mom brain, am I right??

10 Things I Want To Do In 2017

  1. Read at least 6 books. I have read like 2 in the year and a half of since having Livie, and I miss reading! Which leads me to my next goal…
  2. Spend less time absently scrolling through social media.
  3. Drink more water.
  4. Go out on more date nights with Alex.
  5. ┬áVACATION!! It’s in the works, just trying to decide where! I’m thinking a beach…
  6. Swim for exercise more consistently. Swimming has been such a big part of my life that it is by far my favorite exercise. It’s really just more of an enjoyable activity than exercise, which is exactly how exercise is supposed to be, right?
  7. Finish projects in the house… mostly just getting all the rooms painted the color we want, and the decorating the walls.
  8. Finish the graduate courses I am taking to get a technology endorsement for my teaching certificate, and pass the test to complete the endorsement.
  9. Not commit to things I don’t actually want to do.
  10. Keep in better touch with old friends.

    Scrolling through social media and reading more are some of my goals in 2017 too. I read 25 books last year, which may seem like a lot, but is super low for me (I’m a librarian). I’m aiming for 50 this year.
