I have been reflecting and looking back at old blog posts as we get ready to say goodbye to 2016. Here are some of my favorite posts from this year.
To My Daughter on Her First Birthday: This one was a pretty emotional one to write, I remember sitting at the computer crying as I wrote it just because I couldn’t believe how quickly her first year went by. So many mixed emotions as babies grow up! I am glad I captured my feelings and emotions of that time. This will be a great one to look back on as she grows up.
Favorite Fall Activities Mom Blogger Roundup: I loved doing this one because I was able to make connections and get to know several other bloggers! And I got some great ideas of things to do with Livia.
Stop Body Shaming Babies: I am glad that I wrote out my feelings and emotions of comments made about my daughter’s appearance in public by strangers. Hopefully the message got out to a few people that maybe didn’t realize how hurtful things can be to others.
To the New Mom Going Back to Work: Going back to work after maternity leave is so hard, I have a friend that is getting ready to go back soon and my heart just goes out to her. I know a lot of moms can relate to the feelings of this post, and I hope it helped some not feel alone.
5 Things NOT to do on a Road Trip: This one was just hilarious to go back and read. This road trip was stressful at the time, but I am glad I have this post of these memories to look back and laugh at.
Finding Dory First Birthday Party: I love that I was able to document this special birthday party, and all of the fun we had with friends and family. This will definitely be one to go back to in the future.
October Stitch Fix: I had so much fun taking pictures of these clothes because I loved everything in my Fix that time! I also loved this post because Stitch Fix actually pinned one of my images, and included my Instagram image in their monthly newsletter that went out to all of their subscribers, so that was really cool!
Thank you for supporting my blog and joining in this journey with me! I am excited for the memories, milestones, and emotions that 2017 will bring!
