October Stitch Fix

Okay, so I just have to start by saying that Stitch Fix is on FIRE this fall! My October Stitch Fix was amazing, and everyone that I have talked to that has gotten a Fix recently has kept everything in it. So if you have been thinking of trying it, now is definitely the time! You can go here to start your style profile and schedule your first Fix now!

Here’s the details on how it works: You start by filling out your style profile, choosing your preferred styles, price points, colors, etc. (For more detail on getting started- check out my first Stitch Fix review). When you schedule your Fix date, you can leave a note for the stylist of specific things you want or don’t want. This time I was super specific about what I did and didn’t want, and my stylist payed really close attention to that. It truly is a personalized shopping experience! And for this busy momma, that is a huge plus!

To finalize your Fix date, you pay a $20 styling fee that gets applied as credit to any clothes you purchase. And trust me, you will purchase at least one thing, if not everything, like I did. I’m not even ashamed about it. The fall clothes are THAT good!

When your Stitch Fix arrives, you have 3 business days to try on the clothes, style them with other things in your wardrobe, and decide what you want to keep. My tip- schedule your Fix on a Thursday or Friday so the weekend gives you a few extra days to try on and decide.  If you decide to send anything back, they give you a prepaid envelope – just fill with what you are sending back, seal, and mail. So Easy!

Okay, so here is what I got in my October Stitch Fix:

A light fall jacket is something that I have been wanting for a while, so I really wanted to get something I would love. I was very specific in my note to the stylist about this jacket so they could find exactly what I was looking for.

My stylist definitely came through. I LOVE this jacket. It is exactly what I have been looking for. I love the detail of the plaid on the elbows. It is also lined with this flannel plaid, so it will be warm enough for  a chilly fall night sitting around a bonfire.

Rowca Scoop Neck Pull Over Sweater

I instantly fell in love with the color and the comfy feel of this sweater. I loved it even more when it was on. The length is perfect to wear with leggings, as well as jeans. I can see myself wearing this outfit on a cool fall morning going out to brunch or on a Target run with a PSL in my hand.

Armand Lace Detail Knit Top

I loved this color and the lace detail from the moment I pulled it out of the box. You may have seen my unboxing on an Instagram story. Solid colored tops from Target and Old Navy are a staple in my closet. I feel like this top fits right in with that, and the lace adds a little something extra. This top will be great for both wearing to work, and getting together with friends on the weekends.

Jelina V Neck Knit Top

Okay, so to be honest, I am still a little unsure of this top. I love the color, and stripes are usually something I totally go for, but I just am not sure how this one looks on me. Sometimes I think it looks fine, and other times I think it is unflattering.  Also, the texture of the material is not something I would normally choose. Although, that is a nice thing about Stitch Fix. It sometimes forces me to break out of my comfort zone with new styles. I am pretty sure I will still end up keeping it since you get 25% off of everything if you keep all five items. It is actually cheaper for me to keep it than to send just this one back. And I think I can style it with some different things in my closet to make it look better, I’m thinking a longer necklace to break up the middle stripes. What are your thoughts?

Potina Draped Cardigan

First of all, any kind of cardigan is speaking my language. The color is great, it super soft and comfy, and the stripes in the liner add something a little extra. This will be another great item for both work and lazy weekends at home this fall. I’m even thinking this might make a great Thanksgiving outfit! What do you think?

I am so excited about my Stitch Fix this month. This was absolutely my best one yet, and the first time I am keeping all five items!  I can’t wait to wear these new clothes once we get some cooler fall weather! Seriously, you guys, Stitch Fix knows what is going on this fall, don’t miss out. Click here to start with filling out your style profile!
